Class UH have made these incredibly detailed models of the houses and villas from the city of Pompeii in 79AD, just before the catastrophic eruption that buried the city for thousands of years. They have used drawings and records to research the style of buildings, the windows, doors and balconies, and experimented with ways to show the construction of the tiled roofs. Next week they will construct a city square or forum, as well as a fine temple.
Look at our beautiful double page spread learning logs. What a great way to show what you have learned . Your teacher is very proud of you!
Well done Aimee and Libby - you have really impressed us all with your cooking and baking skills! These are wonderful and you should be very proud!
Well done Reece! What a fantastic model of a trench!!
Science is magic! Place an object inside the box, and it disappears.... or rather it seems like that has happened. We have been learning that we can only see because of light; our eyes allow light reflected off objects to enter into our pupils, and the image is processed in our brains!!! Inside the box there is no light - so our eyes can’t see anything.
