A little bit about us...

In Class LC we are keen to learn and challenge ourselves to reach for the stars. We have positive attitudes to working hard and reaching our potential. We think about our core values throughout the day and we have reminders in the classroom to help us.
Meet Our School Councillors and Learning Councillors!

The class voted for these responsible children to represent our class. They go to regular meetings and feedback any information to help our class be part of the community of Holland Haven.

Class LC Potato Competition

Due to the school partially closing in March, Mrs Cardy took the class potatoes home to look after.....and eat :).
They were harvested on the 9th June at the same time as the other classes in the school. We had a total of 51 potatoes, together they weighed 2 pounds (lb) and the largest potato weighed 2 ounces (oz). They were very very yummy!

Bacteria Battle

In our investigations into bacteria and our battle against viruses, our very clean and helpful class helped to clean the chrome books, chairs and trays (with latex free gloves and alcohol/chemical free wipes). What fab cleaners we are in Class LC. Sparkly Clean!

Welcome to our Spring Curriculum!

During our lessons we are using the theme of Dinosaurs to explore information and stories of this prehistoric era.

We are learning how to write stories - with a dinosaur and adventure theme - diaries from Mary Anning, recounts of the visits that we will go on, and poems using our senses and language skills.

Join us Under the Sea to explore our Ocean Theme this
Autumn Term

Welcome to our Autumn Curriculum!

During our lessons we are using the topic of Under the Sea to explore information and stories inspired by the ocean and its sea creatures!

In our theme work we are learning how to write stories with a sea creature theme, recounts from beach trips and other visits, poems using our senses from our visits and information texts about the ocean.

As responsible members of our world, we are exploring how we can look after the conservation of our coastline and ocean.

Take a look at our Learning Environment and the work we have produced!

We Would Love to Have You Visit Soon!             Address: Primrose Road, Holland-on-sea, Essex, CO15 5PP
