On Friday I went with Aaron after school to the park and I watched some people playing football. On Saturday I went round to Aaron's friends house. I had a happy time. On Sunday I had an excellent time. Afterwards I went round Jack's house and I played on the I-Pad.
23.5.14 - 2.6.14 Fish Finger's Half Term by Morgan
The last day of term there were lots of children waving goodbye to me. Mrs Abra took me home to look after me. On the way I was swaying to and fro, which was lot's of fun. I really liked my new surroundings. There were different boys looking at me plus a brown haired one who had a black, shiny nose. I swam around a lot and then Mrs Abra brought me back to school. I am very pleased to see my friends again.
Hello everyone! My name is Fish Fingers. I'm new to class LM but I have already settled in very quickly. Here is my diary that the children have been helping me to write (despite my name I don't have any fingers to hold a pencil with or type on a keyboard!). Hope you enjoy hearing about my LM adventures.
Friday 9th May
Last night I arrived at Holland Haven in the class called LM. Apparently they had a class vote to call me Fish Fingers, I feel happy as this is a thoughtful name. When they call me my name, I swim round and round in circles. I like swimming around like I’m in a race. Every time the children do their work I swim and watch. I also like bobbling and roaming in a circle.
In our Literacy we have been learning a story by Julia Donaldson. We created our own actions to help us remember the story which will then go on to help our writing. Here are some videos, we hope you enjoy. Could you have a go at learning it too?
On Thursday we had some small visitors. Reception class hatched these lovely spring chickens last week and the rest of the school were lucky enough to spend some time with them. We watched them walk about and we even got to hold them if we wanted to. One of them even fell asleep in one of the children's hands.
If you held a chicken, what would you name it?
