Hope you all enjoyed your trip around the world this week. Well done for such careful work making your dragon scales... He is all in one piece now and on show in the hall for a few days so take a look. Beautiful isn't he?
Can you write a descriptive paragraph about the setting for this part of How To Live Forever?
Use your 5 senses to help you. Describe the scene as if you were explaining it to someone who has never read the book. Fill your sentences with colour, feeling and awesome adjectives.
Oh and be sure to use the Marking Man!
This week it was almost impossible to choose Top Dog homework - and so there are two joint winners... Connor and Evan. These boys have produced beautiful posters and fact files, presented their work to a really high standard, and worked incredibly hard over the Easter holidays. Well done boys!
Congratulations also to Alfie, Mia, William, Jake, and Emily May for outstanding homework this week.
Stop, and listen for a moment. Remember to notice the amazing world around you. It is easy not to notice. What are the crows saying to each other? Can you hear any other birds?
We have turned Frank into a Lego superhero minifigure!! Would anyone be interested in entering a competition to design a minifigure for the baddie character "Diabetes"?
Or maybe a friendly doctor or scientist character to help Frank stay well?
Pay 50p to enter, and be in with a chance to win Lego movie minifigures...
If you would like to enter see Mrs. Harris for a design sheet. All your 50p's will go towards fundraising for Frank.
There will be prizes for winning entries from each phase group.
Good Luck with your awesome designs!
