Class UH have made these incredibly detailed models of the houses and villas from the city of Pompeii in 79AD, just before the catastrophic eruption that buried the city for thousands of years. They have used drawings and records to research the style of buildings, the windows, doors and balconies, and experimented with ways to show the construction of the tiled roofs. Next week they will construct a city square or forum, as well as a fine temple.
