About the Friends of Holland Haven

The Friends of Holland Haven is like a Parents and Teacher's Association, except anyone with a connection to the School or Community can get involved.  We organise a variety of social and fundraising events throughout the school year.  Every parent is a member of the committee as soon as their child enters the school.
The elected committee this year are as follows and they can be contacted through the School Office or via email below.

Who we are:
  • Chairperson     Heidi Griggs (ptachair@hollandhavenschool.co.uk)
  • Vice-Chair        Sam Cook (ptavicechair@hollandhavenschool.co.uk)
  • Treasurer         Steph Croot (ptatreasurer@hollandhavenschool.co.uk)
  • Secretary         Caris Franklin (ptasecretary@hollandhavenschool.co.uk)
  • Other parents/grandparents/carers on the committee.

Please like our Facebook page Family & Friends of Holland Haven Primary School and keep up to date with things going on at the FOHH or tag us @hollandhavenpta.  Remember you must be 13 years old or over to use Facebook.

Simple ways you can help

The committee is always looking for willing volunteers.  Any help is most appreciated.  Honestly, you do not have to attend meetings or spend long hours at events!
Please, as a minimum, display our events posters, share our events on Facebook and attend our events, encourage others to attend, donate second hand uniform, or when shopping online go via The Giving Machine or select us as you Amazon Smile charity both of these fundraise for us while you shop.
You may work for a company that allows staff to participate in the pound for pound charity events, or your company can support in other ways by donating prizes, or perhaps sponsoring a horse at one of our race nights.  If you run your own business, you may have skills or facilities that could be beneficial to the school.  Perhaps you would like to advertise in our Summer Fair programme.
If you have any ideas for fundraising, please do not hesitate to contact us.  If you would like to join our active members, we would love to hear from you.  Please contact any member of the committee or come along to our next meeting.  Meeting dates can be found on our Facebook page, in the School newsletter and the School Office noticeboard.
