Children in Need Cake Sales and Coin Trails
£481 was raised through a cake sale and a non-uniform day! Pupils chose to watch a movie in their PJs in the afternoon before Golden Time. The Year 5 and 6 school councillors divided into three groups to sell cakes to the different parts of the school. The last few cakes were sold after-school!

School Council News from the December Newsletter to parents... On the 14th November we raised £647 for Children in Need! This was the first time we have held a bring and buy toy sale! It was very successful so we will be repeating this fund-raiser at another time. This, and the cake sale, gave pupils the opportunity to sell and spend their money in real-life shopping situations. Thank you for your support with all our events. |
Golden Time Toys Order
Each class has £50 to spend on new toys for Golden Time, each year. Once they decide how they would like to spend the money, the Chair, Vice and Treasurer of the School Council research each product and create an order list to share with Mrs Keary in the office. When the toys arrived, UKS2 councillors distributed them around the school! |

WWFHH's Got Talent!
Congratulations to all the auditionees that were chosen by the school council to perform in this year’s talent show. Also, a big well done to all the many pupils who confidently auditioned, and the school council for their considerate, fair judgements, and time, across three lunchtimes. The Year 6 sleepover and non-uniform day/talent show fundraiser raised £431 for WWF. Winning Acts

Muscular DystrophyThe School Council created a list of charities that the school could raise money for and how we could fund-raise for them. The school voted for Muscular Dystrophy and chose to hold a non uniform day, sports activities, sponsored walk for reception and a Year 6 sleep over. The events ran very smoothly due to the great organisation and team work of the School Council members. Well done!
The total raised.....£185.00 Following an assembly where pupils at HH watched a film to introduce Ellie, on Wednesday 15th July Ellie came into school to meet everyone.
On Friday 10th July the Year 6s slept over in the hall! Thank you to the donation of pizzas from the Friends of HH - they were enjoyed! The money raised from the sleepover, along with a toy sale, went to Meningitis Research foundation. The total raised was £243! |
