We had an amazing time on Thursday! We started off by learning about World War 1 trenches, and the different ways that they were built. We have also been learning about how awful life in the trenches could be, as well as some happier moments, such as the Christmas Truce. Then we set off for the beach! The weather was kind to us :) We made sure we were safe by working in our class bubbles and we kept off of 'no-man's land'. Once we had built our trenches, we had some fun spying on the enemy using our periscopes which we made in our Science and DT lessons. The periscopes allowed us to see over the top of the trench, without sticking our head above the wall!
